Now that I’ve had some space from the hectic pace of the school year, I’m ready to re-think my approaches to grading and look for ways to improve my grading load so that I can spend my time responding to my students’ writing in the most effective ways.
In fact, I think our whole department at school should take this on together–as Mister S and Mister B have been doing this year.
But for now, time for a hike with the dog. It’s one of those not-a-cloud-in-the-sky kind of days. Need to get out there!
